Menorca

We have
just returned from our two centre holiday
in Menorca.
The weather was absolutely fabulous until
the last day but even then it didn't
dampen anyone's enthusiasm. Many thanks
to all
of you who have taken the trouble to
write, it really is nice to get such
letters of appreciation. As always thank
you
to the management and staff of both hotels,
to Ann & Nobby Clark and of course
that shy and retiring Andrew Kambites.
We
are altering the format at La Quinta
next year and are running it along the
same lines as the rest of our holidays.
Bridge will be
played
afternoon and evenings (for those that
want it) with Andrew giving seminars
daily. They will of course be different
for both
breaks
catering for those of you who wish to
come for the fortnight.. Next years dates
are La
Quinta 24th April - 1st May 2009 & S'Algar
1st - 8th May

Or
two breaks in Menorca bought our season to
its conclusion, our next break is at the
Pestana Bay Hotel in Madeira 3rd - 17th
September. It really is a lovely start
for us with the hotel being one of the
very few on the island situated on the
sea front.
New Year
at Reading was extremely successful, we
are going
to change
the
format slightly
next year as we can't always guarantee
the suitability of the live group on
New Years Eve. Next year 2008/2009 New
Years
Eve we will have a gala dinner followed
by bridge and then back to the restaurant
for Champagne and Canapes to welcome
in the New Year, for those that want to
join
in the dancing which will be held in
one of the suites, there is an open invitation.
Please remember if you have been on one
of our
holidays
in the preceding 12 months and have electronic
photographs we will be pleased to feature
some
of them, or if there is one of you on
the site you like we will be delighted
to send
it
to
you electronically. |
